While it's now been a decade since he suited up for the Vancouver Canucks, and five years since the NHL in general, Ryan Kesler still considers himself a Canuck.

The longtime Canuck forward joined the Sekeres and Price podcast to discuss the upcoming first round Stanley Cup Playoffs series against the Predators, and to reminisce on Kesler's dominant 11 point series the last time the two times met in 2011.

Kesler hasn't played since 2019, and doesn't plan to again, but he's still not officially retired.

If given the chance, he says he'd love to retire a Canuck
‘I'm still not (officially) retired. I would love to retire a Canuck...If they do choose to honour me, I would love that...Thinking about it gives me chills and almost tearing up a bit thinking about it.

While his ending with the team turned a little sour, Kesler had some great seasons with the Canucks as one of the top two way centers in the league.

Fans have mixed feelings about him, but there's no doubt he put it all on the line for the Canucks in his time there.
