Luke Schenn comments on the Canucks and the upcoming series

The veteran Luke Schenn loved the city and the organization that he chose to sign back with the Canucks after he had already been there. Unfortunately for the beloved veteran, the team had to capitalize on his value and experience and parted ways with him at the 2023 NHL trade deadline.

As it turns out, Schenn is already back in Vancouver, as his Preds are meant to face his former team. As a free agent, Schenn was given an offer he couldn't refuse, and he's been lining up in the Country City ever since. The Predators landed in Vancouver on the 19th, and following their first practice, Schenn was asked to comment on the upcoming Canucks and the relationship he held with his former teammates:





Often referred to as theteam'ss dad, Schenn played an essential role in thisteam'ss development and their youngguns'' upcoming. It'll feel weird for a few players to skate into the corners with him.

Schenn played in 63 games this year. He scored once, directly contributed to six of his teammates' goals, and spent 43 minutes in the penalty box.
