Former Canuck Kevin Bieksa makes a very bold statement on Quinn Hughes
It's been another record breaking season for the Canucks captain Quinn Hughes. Hughes took his whole game to a new level this year and the Canucks have done as much.
There's been lots of discussions suggesting that the Norris (Trophy for NHL's Top Defenceman) was already a lock for the Canucks captain. 91 points, 74 assists and two games remaining, he leads the NHL's defencemen for points and sits 14th among the skaters.Kevin Bieksa, the former Canuck, occupied his usual place on the Hockey Nigth in Canada broadcast and made a very bold statement on the Canucks captain. Not only does he think that Hughes should win the Norris, but he even went as far as stating that Hughes should be getting consideration for the Hart (NHL Most Valuable Player) as well:
"How do you not argue this guy (Hughes) is not the most important guy to his team?"
