Announcement on JT Miller: Nearing franchise history

It's been a personal record-breaking season for the Canucks' tumultuous forward J.T. Miller. Since Jim Benning hit that home run, J.T. Miller has only improved as the years have passed.

Before inking a massive $56M contract, Miller registered what was previously his career best in goals (32), assists (67) and points (99). Still, he's having an opportunity to break every single one this year and could enter franchise history. Of Miller's 66 assists this year, 44 of them are primary, and it sits as the franchise's second most behind Henrik Sedin's 46 (2009-2010):





The Canucks number 9 now counts 36 goals, 66 assists and 102 points with two games to go. He needs two assists to break his previous career-high 67. Miller will then take his business to the playoffs, where he built a gamer reputation. He went to the bubble playoffs with the Canucks back in 2019-2020 and collected an impressive 18 points in 17 games.
