The New Jersey Devils finally broke the ice yesterday and fired their head coach, Lindy Ruff. New Jersey then announced that their new interim head coach will be Travis Green.

Well, some people made their opinion known on it, including former Devil and current Calgary Flame Yegor Sharangovich, as he liked the post on his Instagram page.

Seeing him like the post feels like a clear show of support or agreement with the decision, especially considering how maligned Sharangovich was by Ruff in his time with the team. Fans who noticed that he liked the post certainly seemed to think Sharangovich is glad to see Ruff go.

Sharangovich's play has gone up significantly after spending the first three years of his career under Ruff and Jersey. Yegor had an at-best 46-point season with the Devils, meanwhile with the Flames, in 14 games less this year (61 games), he has a 41-point season in progress.

The Belarus native and 25-year-old moved on from New Jersey looking for a fresh start. Ruff may have been one of the reasons for Sharangovich leaving.
